For many years De Ruimte hosted the marvellous Impro Jam series: a meeting point to explore free improvisation and experimental music through collaboration, curiosity, and spontaneous music-making. Initiated in 2014 by saxophonist Ada Rave, each event starts with an initial group of artists, then other musicians are welcome to join with their instrument and jam on stage!
We’re happy to announce that there will be a new nomadic season of four Impro Jams, touching base in different venues in Amsterdam and Utrecht. This evening at Plantage Dok is the f irst!

Four musicians that are very active in the Amsterdam improv scene, each of them in their own unique way. They have never performed before in this constellation and will certainly bring the audience some suprising moments!
