Dokzaal and Lokaal present Minute Made Music: 100% freshly squeezed. Continuing the tradition of Amsterdam’s rich and notorious improv scene, Minute Made Music is a modular band led by Oscar Jan Hoogland. For this second LOKAAL night they create a perfect fit for Dokzaal, with a focus on the Minute Made string trio and the mesmerizing voice of Mola Sylla. We look into the future with an eclectic menu of Ethiopian saxophone melodies, Senegalese griot singing, string trio music, yabber vocals, Tigrinya beats, compositions by Sylla, Ausbtø, Hoogland, Misha Mengelberg and Gétachèw Mékuria and off course lot’s of improv: All minute made!
